The stage play "HiGH&LOW THE Sengoku Gaiden" will open on July 15, 2026, at the Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL in Tokyo. [Stage Play "HiGH&LOW THE Sengoku Gaiden"] July 15 (Wed) - 30 (Thu), 2026 / Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL, Tokyo August 7 (Fri) - 9 (Sun), 2026 / Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall, Osaka August 14 (Fri) - 16 (Sun), 2026 / Misono-za, Aichi This production is a completely new, alternative story based on "HiGH&LOW THE Sengoku" (planned and produced by EXILE HIRO), a "Sengoku period action drama" that was performed in 2024. The director is Norihisa Hiranuma, who has been in charge of direction, scriptwriting, and production for the "HiGH&LOW" series. The cast includes Hayato Onozuka, who has played main roles in various film and stage productions, has previous experience in the "HiGH&LOW" series, and enjoys the director's strong trust; Hiroki Sasamori, who demonstrated solid acting skills and presence as Mercutio in the musical "Romeo & Juliet"; and Sakina Ayakaze, a former top star of the Takarazuka Revue's Snow Troupe, who boasts overwhelming charisma and expressive power. Furthermore, the cast includes Kento Yamada, who garnered attention for his fresh singing and acting as Marius in the musical "Les Misérables"; Jin Aoki, who served as the lead in the stage production "Touken Ranbu: Iden Oboro no Shishitachi" and is skilled in acrobatics; and Ryushin Ozawa, who has appeared in Kabuki since childhood and has extensive experience in stage, television dramas, and even as a dancer for Shingo Katori's live performances. On July 1st, a press conference was held in Tokyo where Hayato Onozuka, Hiroki Sasamori, and Sakina Ayakaze spoke about their enthusiasm for the project. Onozuka commented on his feelings, saying, "Almost everything is a highlight, but I think the closest thing to describe it is the feeling of 'experiencing' it. We want to deliver our passion and energy to each and every audience member who comes to see the show, and although rehearsals are nearing their end, we hope to finish without anyone dropping out." Sasamori said, "The morale during rehearsals is really high, and everyone's passion is wonderfully high. I'm very proud to be able to create this stage with these members and staff. There are a lot of sword fights, so I'll be careful not to get injured and will do my best until the end, so please come and see it." Ayakaze sent a message saying, "As always, the rehearsal space feels like a cross-cultural exchange. People from various fields have gathered and are clashing with burning passion and soul, like a battle between bandits.
