Row 1 (wrong side): K1, slip 1 purlwise with the yarn over the needle (creating a yarn over), repeat from * to *, and end with K1. Row 2: P1, knit the stitch together with its yarn over (K1 brioche stitch), repeat from * to *, and end with P1. Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
