I have loved Oliver from the moment he graced our screens as Buck and I have adored the way we have seen his character grow and develop, and Oliver meet every challenged. And this was definitely an amazing portrayal of the struggles, the isolation and of family coming through for each other. How I mourn for Buck though, as he was liking the new Buck before Mother's Boy came along! I hope we get to see him happy again soon. And that's why this song came to me as the perfect song - I played it over and over when it was released as I felt it really understood that place we can all be in sometimes and that's why as soon as I caught up on this episode, it screamed out to me for Buck - and the piano version, just to add a little bit more of those sad and sincere vibes. Secondly - two edits in a week! This level of inspiration is an absolute record for me since His Dark Materials finished, so I am thrilled to finally have the storage and HD episodes to be able to edit 9-1-1 in live time as I have really missed having something that I was that passionate about to be able to just put these edits together on my hours off between shifts. Thirdly - I think this is my new favourite colouring! Lastly, the parallels to Bobby are killing me, and there are many more edits to come for those to be explored further than I did in this edit. As well as a Buddie edit on the way too! But sadly, work beckons now, so I don't reckon I will get anything else finished before 9x16. Thanks for all the continued support.
