Finally, we give space to Red Cabbage (or Purple Cabbage!), an ingredient we often see at the grocery store but many avoid for fear of the unpleasant sulfur smell or the tough texture. In this video, I show you how to radically transform it thanks to practical wisdom and small natural kitchen secrets. Many ask: how to cook red cabbage? Forget the usual salad: sautéed in a pan with an aromatic soffritto and the final touch of Parmesan cheese, this superfood becomes sweet and irresistible. Thanks to the tricks to block sulfur, you will discover how to cook it without odors in your home. But why is Red Cabbage a natural medicine? Anthocyanins: Purple pigments are among the most powerful antioxidants in nature. Immune Defense: A goldmine of Vitamin C, even higher than citrus fruits. Fiber & Wellness: Ideal for digestion and very low in calories. COOKING NOTES: Cleaning & Recovery: Don't throw anything away! The outer leaves are perfect for hearty stews or purees. Use the "V" cut to remove the hard core and slice thinly (mandolin or peeler) for quick and even cooking. Color Transformation & Odors: Cabbage turns blue during cooking. To keep it a bright red-fuchsia, add an acidic element (vinegar or lemon). To block sulfur molecules and neutralize the smell, you can also use bay leaf, a peeled potato, or a drop of milk in the water.
