In Loving Memory of Anjum Saddique (incl. Janaza & Burial)

Anjum Saddique, 35, unexpectedly passed away on Monday 26 June 2017 in Bury, England. Following a serious heart attack, Anjum left this world. He was buried on Wednesday 28 June 2017 at Bury Cemetery following a janaza (funeral prayer) attended by thousands. A beloved husband and father of 4 children, Anjum was also adored by his community and many who met him. His passing has left the community of Bury in shock, not least his family. He was affectionately known as Bozza by his close friends, whilst many referred to him as ‘the son of Bury’. Of all his exemplary qualities, Anjum was renowned for his infectious sense of humour and his remarkable ability to uplift anyone feeling low. His service towards fellow Muslims and non-Muslims was confirmed by all who knew him, including the Imam of Noor ul-Islam Mosque in Bury and Member of Parliament for Labour, Mr James Frith. Tributes continue to pour in as many are still shocked and heartbroken at the sudden passing of such a remarkable man. He will no doubt be remembered for his kindness, sincerity, generosity, love and humour. May God grant his family patience, strength and comfort in this difficult time, Ameen.
