Santa Fe's Chillicothe Sub in December 1996

Warbonnets and yellowbonnets still ruled the transcon in December of 1996. More than a dozen freights are seen racing across the Chillicothe subdivision in Illinois. The video was shot at several locations along this busy mainline including Ancona, Chillicothe, Houlihan's curve (between Chillicothe & Edelstein), just west of Edelstein (near the current connection with UP's Peoria Sub), and Dahinda.
