The Romantic Sublime art of John Martin

This video is from the series of paintings and artists who go beyond forms, textures, and colors into a deeper level to reach for the emotional vitality of art. This week's artist, John Martin shows the apocalyptic force of nature and the helplessness of man to combat its power. His paintings are sublime. They are rooted in the feeling of our relationships to the world, to nature, and what lays beyond that help us to formulate an understanding of ourselves. The purpose of these videos is to build a community of the artists who believe art is to unite people through the heart. The style is called Fusionart, the art of uniting. I am offering my guidance in this video for those who want to inspire people to unite rather than divide. My intention is to invite art students and artists to create special types of paintings inspired by the great masters who have gone beyond the surface decoration to reflect the most important value of the art, which is bringing opposites together.
