Home made Costco blanket underquilt for my hammock

An overview of how I made my own hammock underquilt using a cheap Double Black Diamond down blanket from Costco. I'm sorry I don't have more detail for each of the stages required, but when I made this under quilt I was just experimenting. I had never used a sewing machine before, so I had to figure that out (it's pretty easy really) and I was trying a few different design ideas as I went along. This quilt has proven to be a really practical design and it works really well. I use this more often than my £200 quilt. It's compact and warm enough for all but winter use in the UK.
