After recently hearing a politician claim that youth no longer care about politics, Jacob became concerned. His experience has been the opposite. While it is true that youth are less likely to vote and are less likely to be members of political parties, Jacob takes the unorthodox view that youth are not indifferent, their engagement is just different.
