On paper, this sounds like the absolute holy grail of premium virtual reality hardware. But if you’ve been following the niche for a while, you already know the massive catch: this is made by Pimax. And let’s be honest here, raw specs have never been the real Pimax’s problem. Execution has. They are famous for releasing massive, bulky, wide-FOV monsters that feel like wearing an absolute brick on your face. So when Pimax announced they were launching a micro oled-headset I’m honest, I didn’t believe them. Well…. I was wrong? I’ve been using this headset for around a month pretty much, putting it through its paces because it carries a premium price tag of two thousand dollars.
