During his appearance on the program "Buenos Días Perú," Arce stated that, although he does not agree with the election of the leader of Fuerza Popular, as a democrat he recognizes the popular will expressed at the polls. The former congressman also maintained that Keiko Fujimori will face the challenge of building bridges, seeking consensus, and reconciling with the country during the next five years of her administration. Furthermore, Richard Arce sent a direct message to Roberto Sánchez, urging him to accept the election results and acknowledge the decision made by the citizens in the runoff.
