To make a retaining wall you simply build a base for the foundation either out of compacted road base or concrete. Then you dry stack the blocks and fill the core in with free draining blue metal . The capping is lastly glued on to the top course of blocks. You can also install drainage to help direct or divert the excess water which may build up at the back of the retaining wall particularly if you are retaining soil.
