Boston May Fair Pull on and build up part 2 Thursday 1st May 2025

Join us for day 2 of the Boston May Fair pull-on and build-up. The May Fair is celebrating its 900th year and is one of the biggest street fairs held by the Showmen Guilds. The fair is held in both the Cattle Market Carpark and the Bargate Green Carpark. Side stalls, games and juveniles line the street leading down to Straight Bargate. The 3rd area of the Fair is Market Place which is home to the centrepiece of the fair Lawrance Bishdons Golden Gallapors. In this part of the video, the build of Albert Evans' Atmosphere Creator and Dodgems are well on the way, and so are Scott Holland's Vertigo and Bert Holland's Disco Waltzer. The Build-up of Samantha Holland's Sizzler is nearly complete, and Alex Holland has started to build up his Dodgem Set. Also pulled on and well on the way was Dane Crows Exciter Warp 10 ride, Albert Hollands Extreme, Mark Thurston Chaos, Oliver Gilbeys No'1 Bounce Jump and Smile Ride and Austin Hollands Superbowl. Already pulled on but currently not been worked on were Albert Evans Twister, John Holsworth's Crazy Bulls, Jenson & Michelle's Stunning Tomb Raider Funhouse, James Holmes Sky Balloons and Bert Hollands Runaway Train. Many Games Stalls and Juvenile rides were arriving on site and been moved into place on our visit, these included Matthew Dowes Pony Adventure, William Woods Formula and George Burrows Train and Paratrooper.
