Bosch is updating its flagship motor for the 2025 model year. The 5th generation of the Performance Line CX motor features familiar performance features but completely revised internals. The new motor is expected to be quieter, lighter, and more responsive. There are also two new batteries: the PowerTube 800 and the PowerTube 600, which promise more power—800 Wh and 600 Wh—with less weight. A new display is also available for e-bikes from the 2025 model year. The Purion 400 is a compact display that mounts next to the stem. The Bosch E-Bike ABS system will also receive a new version in 2025. The ABS Pro is now even better suited for e-mountain bikes.
