This video is deeply personal to me—it’s a journey back to my roots. Before my family immigrated to Australia, I remember traveling through the Peloponnese mountains as a child, seeing endless fields of red poppies on the way to my grandmother’s village. That image has stayed with me ever since. Now, through Greek Village House, I have the chance to revisit and share the beauty of this land. 🏡✨ In this video, I take you to the heart of the Peloponnese, where traditional stone houses stand as a testament to history, and sacred Orthodox icons reflect the enduring spirit of faith and culture. Set against cinematic music, this is more than just a visual experience—it’s a piece of my heritage. Traditional Greek music has always been a way for me to connect with my heritage on a deeper level.
