Layout Tour: Al Notarione's Pennsylvania & Westbrook

We had the distinct pleasure to be invited to video Mr. Al Notarione's gorgeous Pennsylvania & Westbrook HO scale layout. This layout has been published multiple times, most notably in Model Railroader twice- in the November 1982 and April 2002 issues. The April 2002 article has a very good color track plan. These are very good articles and highly recommended if you can obtain them. Al's layout is straight DC. It does feature an operating signal system (both PRR Position Light and NYC/Erie Color Searchlight signals) and some automatic running so Al can sit back and watch the trains roll. Scenery is complete and the layout is very well detailed and everything is nicely weathered. It is one of those layouts that just "looks right". In addition to the HO scale layout, Al has an O Gauge layout in another room. We show this layout as well- it is big, loud and fun!!
