Photo taken on October 3, 2025 Now that it's October, the weather is starting to hint at the arrival of autumn. Autumn brings with it the autumn leaves, and the kochia flowers are starting to change color. I'll start by checking out the local scenery. I've arrived at Niigata Furusato Village, the king of roadside stations. Every year, the kochia flowers in the flower fields turn bright red. Perhaps this year's heatwaves are to blame? It's still early, and the greenery is intense.
