Super proste nimfy Perdigon na pstrągi, lipienie - Fly tying

In this video, we’ll be tying some of the simplest fishing flies out there – the Perdigon nymphs. Originally developed in Spain, these highly effective patterns have become a go-to choice for many competition anglers. Perdigons typically feature slim, shiny bodies in metallic colours, often combined with a contrasting bead or a bright trigger point that helps provoke takes. Their main advantage lies in their fast sink rate – thanks to their minimalist profile, they cut through the water quickly, getting down to the riverbed faster than most traditional nymphs. They really come into their own in fast, pockety water, where trout and grayling have very little time to inspect the fly – just enough to strike. This is a perfect pattern for Euro nymphing, where maximum contact and control over your flies is key. If you haven’t yet got any Perdigons in your fly box – it’s definitely time to change that! You might look at them and think: “What kind of nymph is that?”, but believe me – they catch fish, and that’s what really matters. This particular pattern – often called the "mirror" Perdigon – was used by members of the Polish national team during competitions in Italy. Naturally, it works brilliantly on our home rivers too. To make your Perdigon durable and long-lasting, it’s essential to coat it with UV resin.
