I started learning Ruan in 2001 and contrabass in 2004. Just out of interest, I arranged "Fantastic Dreams" for contrabass trio in 2005, using some creative methods to overcome the technical challenges of the bass. This arrangement was never played for years, until this premiere performance by the contrabass professor and two students at the Graz University of the Arts.
