CALL TO ORDER Mayor Vierra called the November 14, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting. CONSENT CALENDAR All matters listed on the consent calendar are considered routine in nature and will be enacted by a single motion unless otherwise requested by an individual Council Member or public for special consideration. All Readings of Ordinances and resolutions are waived, except by title. (Nayares-Perez) 3. Approval of Minutes (Nayares-Perez) a. Minutes of the October 24, 2016 Regular City Council meeting. 4. Register of Audited Demands for Period covering October 20, 2016 through November 3, 2016. (Dean) 5. General Correspondence – Information Only a. Information Technology Division Quarterly Report, Third Quarter 2016. (Williams) b. Redevelopment & Economic Development Department Monthly Report for October 2016. (Hallam) 6. Resolution No. 2016-133, adopting the ADA Self Evaluation and Transition Plan. (Jordan) 7. Resolution No. 2016-134, awarding a Professional Services Agreement with Communications Strategies to assess, evaluate, design and implement a Citywide VoIP telephone system, and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. (Williams) 8. Consideration to cancel the second regularly scheduled City Council Meeting of December 27, 2016 due to the City Holiday. (Wells) 9. Resolution No. 2016-135, awarding the Construction Contract for the WWTP Equipment Storage Building to Harris Builders Inc., authorize a 10% contingency and authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract. (Jordan) 10. Resolution No. 2016-136, awarding the Construction Contract for the Safe Route to School Hackett Road and Kinser Road Corridor Project, ATPL -5241(057) to George Reed Inc., authorize a 7% contingency and authorize the City Manager to Execute the Contract. (Jordan) 11. Ratifying Agreements between the City of Ceres and the following Bargaining Groups: (McCoy) a. Resolution No. 2016-137, ratifying the Tentative Agreement between the City of Ceres and Miscellaneous Bargaining Unit. b. Resolution No. 2016-138, ratifying Letter of Agreement between the City of Ceres and First Line Supervisors/Confidential Group. c. Resolution No. 2016-139, ratifying the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Ceres and Mid-Management Employees. d. Resolution No. 2016-140, ratifying the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Ceres and Public Safety Mid-Managers. e. Resolution No. 2016-141, ratifying Letter of Agreement between the City of Ceres and the Ceres Professional Firefighters Association. f. Resolution No. 2016-142, ratifying Letter of Agreement between the City of Ceres and the Ceres Police Officers Association.
