We recommend practicing drawing on any piece of paper while watching the video. Requirements: White paper. Shape template. Sharpie. By the way! Everyone, make sure your triangle ruler has a grid and length scales. Some academies recommend professional-grade rulers with no markings on them, but they're useless and expensive. While Daiso rulers are cheap, the plastic wears out faster than you might think, so after a while, straight lines become uneven. One small ruler (about 13cm). One large ruler (over 30cm). Two templates. An eraser. An eraser template. Two mechanical pencils, one 0.9mm and one 0.5mm. (My academy recommended a 0.3mm lead, so I bought one, but the lead breaks easily.) Start with a 0.5mm lead and use a 0.9mm lead for outlines. I recommend a spring-loaded 0.5mm mechanical pencil with a cushion. If the lead breaks or gets stuck during the test, all the time you've saved will be wasted. You can find many good, cushion-type pencils for under 10,000 won at the supermarket. The score distribution for the Landscape Architect's practical exam is as follows: Design Drawing: 50 points (35 points for floor plans, 15 points for cross-sections) Tree Identification: 10 points, 20 questions (write the tree name yourself) Practical Work: 40 points Since most applicants earn a base score of around 30 points for the practical work, if you complete the drawing and submit it without any missing elements, you can easily pass the exam by adding this base score to your average tree identification score.
