How do you know when to get rid of clothes you've outgrown? What about if you fluctuate in weight? I ask myself these questions in this season's closet decluttering. I've had this box of clothes I thought I might fit into someday, but over the last year, I've maintained basically the same weight all year. That weight happens to be at least 15 lb more than what I'd like to be at maintenance. I don't need the clothes in my closet as a constant reminder that I haven't gotten close to that weight recently. The job of my closet is to keep me looking and feeling good NOW. Not only was this closet cleanout to move my winter sweaters to storage, it was also to come to terms with my perpetual winter weight. And if I happen to lose the weight?
