How Denmark is working with thermonet for sustainable heating and cooling

Across Europe, more and more people are working with what is often called fifth generation district heating and cooling, ambient loops, thermal energy networks — or simply thermonet. Many of us are exploring the same questions: How can we create collective heating and cooling solutions where traditional district heating is not feasible? How can we use shallow geothermal energy, surplus heat and decentralised heat pumps more intelligently? And how do we move from promising technical solutions to real projects, shared language and stronger collaboration? Thermonet Europe organized this webinar on 23rd of June, 12.30–15.30 In Denmark, thermonet has developed from scattered ideas and local pioneers into a growing field with real cases, practical tools, research projects and an active association. This webinar shares the Danish journey — not as a finished model, but as an invitation to learn together across Europe.
