This video follows the story of the bloody #MauMau anti-british rebellion in Kenya and explain why the fighters continue to suffer neglect after years of independence from colonial rule. they were armed majorly with homemade weapons, spears, and machetes, about twenty thousand men and women, mostly from the Kikuyu ethnic group in Kenya, waged an intense guerrilla war against the British and their African “loyalists” in the 1950s. Their demand was Land and freedom! The Mau Mau’s failed rebellion indirectly succeeded in liberating Kenya from colonial rule.
