Sergio Oliva, Franco Columbu, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chris Dickerson, Samir Bannout, and Phil Heath are examples. Sergio Oliva was a world-class lifter. Amit Sapir (IFBB Pro and 2011 Olympian) says, "Bodybuilders should learn a lot from weightlifting. They should learn squat and deadlift techniques, explosive muscle power, the nervous system, and how to recruit fast-twitch muscle fibers, and actively incorporate them into their training. Flexibility also improves."
