Supermassive Games – for me, these two words combine love and hate, wave and stone, a long-time passion and the most wasted thousand dollars of my life, ice and fire, and much, much more. Let's just say their first project, Until Dawn, under Sony's management, was, while not perfect, solid and quite captivating with its character chemistry. Imagine my indignation when, in the following years, Supermassive Games gradually separated from Sony and noticeably lowered their standards. And imagine my pleasant, yet not without a touch of fear and skepticism, surprise when their new project, The Quarry, clearly evoked from the trailers "that very" atmosphere of their first – and, without exaggeration, best – project.
