I learned how to cook, how to choose fresh vegetables and fish, and even started meal prepping and making my own frozen dumplings. For me, the biggest benefit of cooking isn’t just saving money—it’s having the freedom to choose how I want to live. In this vlog, I also visit Taipei’s Huannan Market before a typhoon to stock up on ingredients, and challenge myself to cook Longzhan fish for the first time.
