After finishing our enjoyable golf trip in Chitose, we moved on to Niseko, the location where we would be joining a couple of our subscribers. Since Niseko is a world-famous ski resort area, we were worried that the weather might be cold even in May. However, contrary to our expectations, the weather remained clear and pleasant throughout the round, allowing us to truly enjoy playing golf. In this video, we captured our first round at the Niseko Village Golf Course, located at the Hilton Niseko Village, after touring tourist attractions near Chitose and arriving in Niseko. Niseko has a strong image as an expensive resort destination, but the green fee at the Niseko Village Golf Course we visited was around 50,000 to 60,000 won per person, making it a surprisingly affordable price to enjoy a round. It was truly impressive to be able to experience such beautiful natural surroundings and an excellent course at this price point. The scenery, where the majestic Mt. Yotei—with snow still remaining near the summit—harmonized with the lush green fairways, was a special charm that can only be experienced in Hokkaido. The experience of playing a round while gazing at the snow-covered mountain will likely remain in my memory for a lifetime. I hope this was of some help to those planning a golf trip to Hokkaido.
