Analyzing the EDGIEST children's anime film... (Chirin no Suzu)

Chirin no Suzu is a 1978 children's anime film created by Sanrio Films, who also created Hello Kitty and Aggretsuko among many other mascot characters. It's about a little sheep boy who's mother was killed by a waolf, he sets out for revenge but learns instead how cruel and harsh the world truly is. By the way i did search up for chirin no suzu merch and can only find picture books? I demand plushies!!! Damn bro curb your brooding i almost got cut on that edge but seriously i love overly edgy dark nihilistic aesthetics even if i wont embody them myself.
