浜尾京介×渡辺大輔/映画『タクミくんシリーズ あの、晴れた青空』インタビュー

Kyosuke Hamao, Daisuke Watanabe / Film "Takumi-kun Series: That Sunny Blue Sky" Interview "That Sunny Blue Sky" is the fifth film adaptation of the "Takumi-kun Series," a boys' love novel series with over 4 million copies in circulation. A heartbreaking love story unfolds at a boarding school for boys. The lead role of Takumi and his destined love, Guy, is played by Kyosuke Hamao and Daisuke Watanabe, who have been cast in four consecutive films since the second. Both Hamao and Watanabe have announced their retirement from the series with this film, making this an even more unforgettable film for their long-time fans. Takumi's past is revealed around the anniversary of his brother's death. Despite being the most important person to each other, the two struggle to separate... The theme is "eternal love." "That Sunny Blue Sky" will once again captivate the hearts of young women with its forbidden love and beauty. Hamao and Watanabe, a golden duo who have garnered tremendous support, looked back on this film, their final appearance, and the series as a whole. -- "That Sunny Blue Sky" is the fifth film in the series and your fourth appearance together. What were your impressions when you read the script and after actually acting in it? Hamao Kyosuke: As the fourth film, I thought it was the most difficult. This time, the story revolves around Takumi's past, which hasn't been revealed until now. That's the reason why Takumi developed "human contact aversion." Takumi was betrayed by his older brother, who was very important to him, and rejected by his parents. From there, he built walls around himself and began to hate people. I can understand it, but it's hard to get into his emotions. There's a long scene where he confesses his past to Guy, and I wonder what he was thinking when he said it... It was really difficult. Watanabe Daisuke: It was certainly a difficult work. And it was heartbreaking too. This episode features the relationship between the two characters from their first year, as well as a culmination of Takumi's feelings toward his older brother and family. I think he was able to communicate with Mao (Hamao) even without speaking to her on set. I was also moved by the subtle support and encouragement the other characters provided. I think it's interesting from that perspective as well. I'm not saying you have to watch it five times, but please watch it at least twice (lol).
