The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway has come under scrutiny following recent flooding in parts of Lagos, with Works Minister David Umahi rejecting claims that the project caused the problem. Umahi says poor drainage infrastructure, blocked waterways and the failure to implement Lagos State’s flood management plan are responsible for the flooding.
