The Rolling Stones - On fire Japan tour 2014, february 26th
Recorded live at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, on February 26, 2014. This show is a mix of video filmed by “Tom & Jerry” and audio taken from the CD “Crowning Glory On Fire Japan Tour” released by Empress Valley Supreme Disc. The video is an audience recording, while the audio comes from IEM (In-Ear Monitor) feeds, the devices used by the musicians to hear themselves on stage. The concert is not complete, as “Sympathy for the Devil” is missing due to copyright restrictions. The Stones were beginning the On Fire tour, which included first-time visits to new countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, and Israel. This concert was the second show of the tour and the first of five performances in Japan, all held in Tokyo. The setlist featured the rarity “Emotional Rescue,” which would only be played two more times during the tour, in the United Arab Emirates and Norway. Throughout the tour, Mick Taylor appeared as a guest musician on several songs, and the Senzoku Freshman Singers choir joined the band on “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” You Can't Always Get What You Want.
