Following Capcom's official announcement, anticipation for Resident Evil Veronica (the remake of Code: Veronica, coming in 2027) is sky-high. But the 2000 original, despite being a masterpiece, had some huge structural flaws. Will this remake be able to fix them all, or does it risk distorting the original too much? In this video, we'll analyze some of Code: Veronica's core issues that Capcom absolutely must address, from escape traps (the infamous plane soft-locks) to character changes that many fear could be labeled "politically correct" or "woke" (like the handling of Alfred Ashford and Steve).
