CARA PAKAI PLASTIGAUGE - UKUR CELAH MESIN CELAH OLI PADA METAL STANDAR ATAU TIDAK

Plastigauge Type-A (red) Has an accuracy of 0.025-0.175mm. This means we can't estimate the narrow gap between the metal and the crankshaft to determine whether to replace the metal alone or to undersize. Normally, the oil-to-metal clearance is 0.025-0.038mm. If the gap is even slightly larger, the piston rod will feel loose. And if it's larger than 0.050mm, a noise will start to appear at every engine speed and will also rattle up and down... Now... if the gap is large... You should measure the crankshaft pin again to see if it has shrunk (for example, on a Maestro/Prestige: 45.1-45.2mm). If the crank pin hasn't shrunk, you can just replace the standard metal (as in my previous video). This means only the metal is worn away. But if it's already 44.8-45mm, it's difficult to get the clearance back to normal. The metal must be undersized to 0.25mm. And undersizing without lowering is certainly not as easy as lowering the engine. Keep reading, guys...to avoid any misunderstandings...eh...haha... Hopefully this is helpful... #plastigauge #conrodbearing #metaljalan
