Punishing & Objective Olympic Sabre Custom Ruleset

What happens if you make Olympic sabre rules totally objective? In this video, we demo the Wayback Sabre Code—an "Athletic Bridge" ruleset designed to bring the discipline of the Classical masters to the speed of modern 500g-ish blades. Or maybe I just play too much Lies of P and wanted that real hard parry window. Key Mechanics Featured: The Engaging Guard: Starting blades-crossed in High Tierce to eliminate the "in the box" subjectivity and fist pumping dance off. The 2-Point Riposte: Adding "psychological weight" to the defense to discourage panic counterattacks. The Head Hierarchy: Why a mask-shot always trumps a body-shot in the "Wayback" system. The Neon Forte: A visual refereeing aid to ensure structural parries are rewarded. Feel free to try out this objective ruleset just for fun! This project is deeply inspired by the work and research of the community. I’d love to hear the thoughts of the professionals who have paved the way: ‪@russmitchellmovement‬Your work in the translation world is so valuable. ‪@RobertChildsRapier‬A true rapier fencer with great martial insight. ‪@Skallagrim‬Please let us know your thoughts.
