Exploring An Abandoned Motel In North Carolina. While on our North Carolina trip, we had just left the Tail Of The Dragon when we unexpectedly found this vintage little motel that had clearly been closed for some time. Surprisingly, we noticed that vandalism was nearly nonexistent which made us question whether it was actually abandoned or not. From the looks of things, it appeared that this little motel closed quite some time ago. If this was still in business, I would not have hesitated to spend a night here. It looked that cozy and comfortable. We stopped here and checked this motel out with the upmost respect. We simply took pictures and video and left this place the way we found it. If anyone happens to visit this place, be respectful. Take nothing, leave nothing, but foot prints. Please do not vandalize. We do not condone it. We simply wanted to admire this little motel.
