BREAKING: Multiple people shot at Seattle Center during Bite of Seattle event near Space Needle

SEATTLE, Wash. — Police in Seattle are investigating a shooting at the Seattle Center that left multiple people injured. The Seattle Police Department said, “Police are investigating a shooting. Multiple shooting victims. Shots fired at the Seattle Center. More information to come. Please avoid the area.” Large numbers of police and emergency crews began arriving in the area of Sue Bird Ct & Thomas St shortly after 6 p.m. Seattle Center was evacuated of guests as more police arrived. No other details, including the number of victims or the extent of injuries, were immediately released by police.
