Satan Doesn’t Rule Hell. He’s Going There.

Satan is not presented in Scripture as the ruler of hell, presiding over the damned from a throne or exercising some final authority outside the reach of God. Christ says that the eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, and Revelation depicts Satan being thrown into the lake of fire as one under judgement, not as its king. In this video Layman works through the passages that correct the popular picture of hell as a realm where God is absent and Satan reigns. God fills heaven and earth, remains sovereign over every part of His creation, and will finally judge Satan, death, Hades, and all rebellion against Him.
