Formed at the Royal College of Music in September 2022, the Inverno Quartet brings together musicians from Lithuania, Slovenia, Argentina/Spain, and Italy. Finale: Allegro Presented in association with the Royal College of Music Artist Bio Formed at the Royal College of Music in September 2022, the Inverno Quartet brings together musicians from Lithuania, Slovenia, Argentina/Spain, and Italy: violinists Ugnė Liepa Žuklytė and Maša Stopar, violist Rocío Ortega López, and cellist Niccolò Citrani. Reformed in 2025 with the addition of two new members, the ensemble combines a wide range of cultural influences with a shared commitment to chamber music. The quartet has worked closely with distinguished chamber musicians and pedagogues including Simon Rowland-Jones, Adrian Levine, Jonathan Barritt, Emily Sun, Sinead O’Halloran, Ben Hancox, and Bryony Gibson-Cornish. They have also collaborated with the Alkyona Quartet and members of the Marmen Quartet, and have performed alongside internationally renowned clarinettist Michael Collins in works by Weber and Mozart. As participants in masterclasses at the Royal College of Music, the ensemble has received coaching from the Pavel Haas, Sacconi, and Brodsky Quartets. The quartet was also selected to take part in Music Works Sundays at Kings Place, supported by the Albert and Eugenie Frost Music Trust, where they worked with Robert Max and Catherine Manson. The Inverno Quartet regularly performs at prominent venues across the UK, including the Royal College of Music Performance Hall, the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, the RCM Museum, St Mary Abbots, the Austrian Cultural Forum, and Sledmere House. The ensemble was selected for the Royal College of Music’s 2023/24 String Quartet Platform, receiving mentorship from members of the Marmen Quartet. Recent highlights include a performance of Haydn’s Seven Last Words with narrator at the Royal College of Music Performance Hall, as well as reaching the final audition rounds for both the Tunnell Trust and the Kirckman Concert Society. Sabina Suciu, born in 2004, is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London under the guidance of professor Dmitri Alexeev and professor assistant Vitaly Pisarenko. She has also studied during 2018 -2019 at “Mozarteum Salzburg Precollege” Austria with professor Georg Steinschaden. In 2019 she was accepted as a Student in Residence at the prestigious Verbier Summer Academy . In 2021 she won a scholarship at Sonoro Montepulciano Chamber Music Academy, under the guidance of Diana Ketler. She attended several masterclass with artists like -Jan Jiracek von Arnim, Christian Pohl, Grigory Gruzman, Diana Ketler, Florian Mitrea, Andrei Diev, Klaus Hellvig, Ferenc Rados, Pedja Muzijevic, Philippe Raskin, Albert Mamriev.
