Not all campsites are created equal… and unfortunately, this one really missed the mark. In this video, we share our honest experience staying at a campsite in Chilches - Xilxes, Spain — and why it has been the most disappointing campsite we’ve ever stayed at during our travels. We show you exactly what went wrong, including: 🚫 Pitches with electric only – no water or grey waste drain 🚿 Very dated toilet blocks and poor facilities 💧 No hot water for washing dishes outside 🏊‍♂️ Swimming pool closed 🕳️ Uneven pitches, potholes, and standing water 🚽 Chemical toilet emptying point located inside a cubicle next to normal toilets 😕 Unhelpful and unfriendly staff We always try to stay fair and balanced, but this campsite simply didn’t meet even basic expectations — especially for long-term or winter caravanning in Spain. This video is not made to complain, but to help fellow caravan and motorhome travellers avoid disappointment and make better choices on the road.
