DIY travel sketchbook | Case binding Tutorial (Start to End) | Making a Book Cloth ✨

Hey! If you are like me and only want your favorite sketchbook on your travel instead of buying some random one the last minute, here is a lifesaver ;) I learnt a lot of the book binding practices and different types of sewing from the book of "Handmade books at Home" by Chanel Ly ‪@bittermelonbindery‬ and also from the youtube channel of ‪@SeaLemonDIY‬ This video shows you everything I did in the making of the sketchbook along with my mistakes :O and the fixes and workaround I did. I learnt a lot while making these : 1. get the right waxed thread 2. choose thicker paper for end pages I used a handmade one from Portugal although those papers are amazing and give the sketchbook a unique touch, may be for starters I could pick card-stock so that the glue wouldn't soften it so much.
