HEPHASIST molded her from clay, and each of the Olympian gods bestowed a gift upon her. Therefore, Pandora is called "She Who Has All Gifts." She was then taken to Earth by HERMES as a gift for EPIMETHEUS, Prometheus' brother, who, despite his brother's warnings, accepted PANDORA as his wife. PANDORA brought with her a jar containing all the evils of the world. Driven by curiosity, she opened the jar, releasing all the evils, which spread across the Earth, leaving only hope at the bottom of the box.
