RV life in Ontario is getting real as we prep for our fifth wheel renovation, shop for supplies, choose paint colours, and share our full month RV electricity cost update after a GTA heat wave. In this episode, we are getting our RV ready before everything changes! We’re shopping for renovation supplies, narrowing down paint choices, and trying to make decisions for our upcoming fifth wheel makeover. Our new friends took delivery of their beautiful new Brinkley fifth wheel, and the dealership placed it on their site while they waited for their truck to arrive. It seemed like a great plan... until they realized it wasn't quite positioned or leveled correctly. So Gerald did what RVers do—he hitched it up, got it repositioned, properly levelled, and helped make their new home feel like home. Moments like these are exactly why we love the RV community. After that, we wrapped up our first full month of tracking RV electricity costs at our seasonal site in Ontario, including six days during a GTA heat wave. We also share the biggest surprise from our testing... switching our hot water heater back to propane. And finally, we get our own RV ready for what's coming next.
