What a Business Trip Looks Like for an Ordinary Chinese Worker|Train, Metro, Airport and Flight

A normal business travel day in China. In this episode, I’m starting from Chengdu and traveling all the way to Shenzhen for work. The whole trip includes taking the metro, riding a high-speed train from Chengdu to Chongqing, transferring to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport by metro, spending a little time in the airport lounge, and finally catching a flight to Shenzhen. This is not a vacation or a fancy travel vlog. It’s just a real day on the road for an ordinary Chinese office worker. I wanted to show what business travel in China actually looks like: busy train stations, high-speed trains, metro transfers, airport security, airline lounge access, boarding, and the small moments in between. For many people working in China, traveling between cities for meetings, projects, or business trips is a normal part of life. Sometimes one trip can involve several different types of transportation in just one day. From Chengdu to Chongqing, then from Chongqing to Shenzhen — this is my real work travel day in China. What does a normal business trip look like for an ordinary Chinese office worker? Today, I’m taking you with me from Chengdu to Shenzhen — by metro, high-speed train, airport lounge, and flight.
