Can you do something enough for God or can you ever do too much for God? Romans 5:6-11 God never measures you by your works - rather He looks at your faithfulness in everything you're doing. Christianity is a lifestyle based on personal daily relationship with Jesus Christ. That's why in everything that we do we ought to do it as for the Lord, live for Jesus, acknowledging Him everywhere we are and in everything we do! Do things because we love Jesus, do them with desire to please Him and do it just because He is God! Can you be a disappointment to God? The answer is NO, because you are His handiwork! He is the Potter and you're the clay - He is not disappointed in His work, because He's bringing you to Holiness & Righteousness and His project will be completed only when you stand face-to-face before Him! So don't give up, stay strong, don't quit, and when you fall or stumble- just get right back again and keep living right before the Lord, serving Him regardless of your circumstances and feelings. John 6:28-30 - is the summation of the requirements to please God: "Love God & have faith in Jesus!" Put all your trust in Him! Don't look for a sign, don't test God, don't be religious in becoming addicted to the process rather than to the person. Learn to enjoy Jesus! Trust Jesus! Trust His Word! Always keep your eyes on Jesus- " the Author and the Finisher of our faith".
