Not a method for better prayer, nor a spiritual program for the summer, but a simple phrase that has profoundly changed how I experience the frustrations of daily life. I received this phrase from Blessed Chiara Luce Badano: “If you will it, Jesus, I will it too.” For several weeks now, I have been repeating it whenever things don't go as planned: a worry, an unexpected event, an argument between the children, a difficult decision to make… And I have discovered that it brings an amazing peace. In this episode, I share with you how this little phrase can transform our perspective on events, help us accept what we cannot control, and open wide the door to the action of the Holy Spirit.
