Kingman Train Derailment 26 Years Later

On August 9, 1997, Amtrak's Southwest Chief Train 4 derailed on a bridge east of Kingman. The cause was a flash flood weakening the bridge due to BNSF Railway not inspecting and maintaining the bridge properly.
