[Inuyasha] Dark Desires 4: Savior of Mine

Years later, Inuyasha saves a young orphan, Kikyo, from a demon. After she comes searching for him, he decides to stay with her until she can take care of herself. She grows up with him, and eventually comes to love him as more than just a fatherly figure. When she reveals these feelings to him, he realizes that he has come to think of her the same way. Unfortunately, a half-breed by the name of Naraku has a grudge against Kikyo that has gone back since before she knew Inuyasha. He brings Kagome back to life in order to ruin their relationship. When Kagome sees that Inuyasha is with Kikyo, she feels betrayed and easily is manipulated by Naraku who convinces her that is was wrong for her to die and Inuyasha still be happy. Kagome lures Inuyasha away to a place that he will never escape from, deciding that she is going to kill him. She proclaims to him that everything is his fault and that she hates him, hoping that he will get angry and give her a reason to destroy what they once had. But to her surprise, Inuyasha draws her close and apologizes for not getting to her quick enough and letting her die. This snaps Kagome out of her revenge-driven madness and she thanks him, vanishing into thin air and leaving Inuyasha staring up at the sky. Kagome promises that she will watch out for him even if she can not be with him and accepts her death. But it seems that Kagome has a debt that has not been paid... [To Be Continued]
