We are visiting Turkmenistan's historical monuments. All of these historical buildings are located in the Lebap province of Turkmenistan. Astanababa - Built in the 12th century, the Astanababa Mausoleum (Turkmen: Astanababa Kümmeti) is a mausoleum located in the city of Kerki, Turkmenistan. Originally consisting of four domed chambers, the complex was gradually expanded over the centuries. The entrance portal opens onto a hall before two successive double-domed chambers. A total of five people are buried there, including a mosque. The identities of all those buried are unknown, but local tradition holds that the tomb was built for the daughter of Ibn Ali Nur, the local ruler of Balkh. It has undergone several restorations to date. Bilal Baba Mausoleum - The tomb here belongs to Bilal al-Habashi, who lived between 581 and 641 and is believed to be the tomb of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Bilal al-Habashi. It is claimed to belong to the person who was the companion of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the first muezzin. My research has revealed that this information is incorrect. I believe it is named after Bilal Ata. Important information: Locals believe this tomb is a very powerful site. This is because it is located right on the banks of the Amuderya River, or the Oxus River. Every year, the river engulfs much of the surrounding land, but despite being located right on the edge of a powerful current, it has remained standing for many years. Alamberdar Tomb - This is the first historical structure built in Central Asia. Inside, lies the tomb of one of the most powerful companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
