Discord server:   / discord   The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is Australia's national broadcaster. It was established on 1 July 1932 as the Australian Broadcasting Commission and started broadcasting on television in 1956. They held a competition in July 1963 to create a new logo for their TV company. Bill Kennard, who was a senior graphic designer at the ABC, came up with the winning design, known as the Lissajous Curve. It was officially adopted by the ABC on 1 May 1964. On 8 February 2008, the channel was renamed ABC1, before being rebranded as ABC TV on 20 July 2014.
